Now, hold on. It's not that kind of news. No, but this is still pretty exciting! Well, for me at least.
I picked up this little beauty from a thrift store today. Not surprisingly, it was being kept under lock and key.
Now, this is a 620 film camera. Originally manufactured by the Kodak corporation from the late 40's to the early 60's, she's in fairly good condition, minus a few knicks here and there. But, here's the cool part...I've fitted it to shoot with 35mm film! This is all trial and error, but I know I'm not the only one doing this out there, so I know it's possible. In fact, there's this really cool Flickr group that I suggest you check out. I'm still in the learning process as to how to develop this film because I want to be able to see the whole image from the negative. Guess I'm going to have to scan these babies. Hopefully, I will get lucky and be able to produce some pretty cool images with this cool camera. So, please keep checking! I know I've been slacking lately, but that's because of other obsticles in my way. Soon enough, I will have so much that I've shot that I won't be able to keep up with it!

Cool! Wish my old twin lens reflex were still around for your collection. So you know, there is a Polaroid on the shelf at grandma Mary's house for you. Just don't hold your breath! Talk to me about a box of old developing equipment I set aside in the new trash pile in her garage. We will have to pull it out before the next dumpster!
Love
Dad
