Circles

I've been in a bit of a funk lately. Not really sure why I'm a photographer. Doubting myself as an artist. This is all kind of crazy, because I know for a fact that I'm not the only photographer going through this. A friend posted a link to a video that another photographer made that really struck a chord with me. I believe that video was made for me.

There's another photographer who inspires me big time that wrote a blog the other day that also put things into perspective for me. Click here to view it. After reading this yesterday, I decided to do something about it. And that something happens to be posting this blog. I became a member of Join In Photography a few weeks ago, and because of my "funk", I haven't done anything about it. In fact, I've been dreading posting anything on there. Not today. Today I feel empowered. I'm a photographer. And I think a good one. I don't care if everyone doesn't like my art. I only care if a few do. And which is why I'm sticking to shooting the way I want to shoot. I'm not going to shoot the way that someone wants me to shoot. My style is my style, not anyone elses. With that being said, here are a few of my favorite shots from last month's assignment from Join In Photography.com, which happened to be "Circles".
