10 Day Challenge: Day 3

Again, busy today. Did yardwork this time. But I was still able to pull out a pretty cool picture, I think. Enjoy!

This doorknob kind of got me thinking. This particular doorknob has gotten a lot of action over the years, and continues to get used to this day. It's just amazing to me how long certain things last and how quickly other things break, or disappear, or get lost, or get chewed up by your dogs, etc. Hmm. Just thoughts.

Considering the cost of something like a doorknob, it has a remarkable lifespan! But like so many others, this one should retire to the trash bin some day. Not a pleasant thought when you think about growing older...

like Dad's cycling shorts that were lost when we moved to Tulare. Have never found those darn things! Imagine if the doorknob could tell the stories it knows!
I love your new banner!

I love this! You made something so simple look so cool. An everyday object that we never notice turned into art. Awesome picture!
